WI HCKY - 07/25/2008SO GLAD THAT SOLLYS IS STILL FUNCTIONING INI MILWAUKEE. WENT TO SOLLYS OFTEN WHEN I WAS 18 AND WORKED IN THE AREA. I BELIEVE IT WAS ON GREEN BAY AVENUE THEN. MOVED AND WHEN VISITING WOULD STOP BY. I TELL EVERYONE THAT IT IS THE BEST BURGER AROUND. I AM 69 NOW LIVING IN ANOTHER STATE AND STILL THINK ABOUT THOSE BURGERS. NEXT TIME IN TOWN I WILL DEFINITELY STOP BY.

ROBBGUYMPLS - 06/06/2008I find it amazing that people compare Solly's to Culver's as Solly's is far superior in style of burger. Try going to Culver's and ask for extra butter on your burger. You can't get it as Culver's puts butter in their meat and not on the bun! Go to Solly's and ask for extra butter and you will need 8 napkins per burger! Solly's is Wisconsin and proudly supports the Dairy industry and this is from a St Paul, MN guy who moved from the Milwaukee area and misses the Solly's porkchop sandwich also. YUMM

Janaanson - 06/06/2008We lived in the Milwaukee area for 3 years. This was one of our favorite restaraunts. Not only is the butter burger out of this world, but the environment is great too. We would go as a whole family, have great conversations with other customers sitting around the counter. We love Solly's and we miss it. It was one place we made sure we went to when we were back for a visit.

FL Peach2 - 05/27/2008best hamburger in the world. lived in milw. for 33 yrs and went to sollys at least 3 times a week. the juicy buttery hamburger melts in your mouth and down your arms. it is loaded with good wisconsin butter. and the sauteed onions are sauteed in butter too. put them together and you have a piece of heaven. always fast service, and a fresh warm bun make this hamburger a real winner
