Pizza Shuttle's low priced menu and high quality food has made it the place to go after enjoying a concert or a night of drinking near Brady Street. The pizza is -- of course -- the main entree at Pizza Shuttle. Most patrons opt for thick crust pizza with excellent sausage, pepperoni, or more adventurous choices. But, Pizza Shuttle also offers some terrific brats, burgers, breaded cauliflower and various others sides and meal choices. Even Vegans can find something to please their diet at Shuttle, including cheese-less pizza, and breadsticks covered in an imitation butter sauce. Pizza Shuttle offers one of the best jukeboxes in the city, and the pizza parlor decor meets high art with the original Andy Warhol hanging on the wall near the classic arcade games. Those on a budget can enjoy a slice of pizza and a soda for only $3.50 -- less than the cost of most McDonald's value meals. One can also enjoy Pizza Shuttle from the comfort of their pajamas, as they deliver throughout the East Side, downtown and Marquette area. And their late closing time (3AM on weekdays, 4AM on weekends) make them the ideal place to call for a late-night snack.

Long Story Short: If you place an order for pickup, add 30 minutes to the time they give you or else go there and wait around with your free soda cup until they decide to make your food.

I thought I would give Pizza Shuttle a try this morning for the first time in a long time.
They have been around for years and have grown significantly in all this time.
I remember their sicilian pan pizza being the best pizza ever, and thought I would check up to see how it is now.

I placed a pickup order for a simple cheese pan pizza at 11:35 AM by phone, and was told it should be ready in 20-25 minutes.
Ok so I arrive at Noon and pay for my pizza. The cashier goes to grab it from the kitchen ********** not there.
I was told 5-10 minutes and I got a free soda cup.

Then I overhear someone asking where is order 64 (my order), so they actually hadn't even begun making it still. So then I'm trying to get the free pizza shuttle wifi working on my phone at least while I wait, but it requires some username and password that I can't find on the hundreds of posters on every inch of the walls.

By 12:20 PM of course I give up and ask for a refund, which gladly wasn't a problem.
The cashier giving the refund tells me it takes 30 minutes to make a sicilian pan pizza, something they could have mentioned when I ordered.
I was offered one of the dried out pizzas that sit out in the heat box for when people order just a slice.
The pepperoni fat was leaking down from the top pan to the other slices, thx but no thx.

Question is, why didn't they just tell me it would be 30 minutes to make it when I placed the order.
Or why didn't they actually start making the pizza at some point during the 20-25 minutes.
Or how about why after I'm there they didn't just tell me the pizza just wasn't going to be ready.

For a restaurant that has such a huge menu, and such a high traffic rate, and delivers just about anywhere in the city, how could they not have a handle on such a simple thing as a pickup order.
I can't comment on the food because I left with only a soda cup.
