Burgers and banana splits are served up with an extra helping of nostalgia at this old-fashioned ice cream parlor. Charming wooden booths sit along walls decked with old photographs, antique Coca-Cola signs and team pennants from when Milwaukee's pro baseball team was the Braves. A full meal begins with a bowl of homemade soup and your choice of a variety of hot and cold sandwiches such as a turkey club, mushroom and Swiss burger, or chicken filet. day I can get my hamburger fix. Try to go at least once a week for the season. Never had a bad experience. Great food, friendly staff and
a choice of eating in or take out. Years ago I would take my children

Sheryldeer29 - 05/16/2008I grew up 2 blocks away and used to take a short walk to pick up burgers, fries, and malts to bring home for dinner. Nite Owl opening was one of the signs of spring! Best butter burgers anywhere. I haven't lived in Milwaukee for 9 years now but every time I come back, I don't get back on the plane until I have had my Nite Owl fix. I hope it's still around for me to take my kids someday.

mrtambrman - 03/24/2006For the past 35+ years I've been enjoying Nite Owl's food. I used to live nearby but even now that I'm 25 miles away I still make a weekend trek to get my burger and fries! My son now joins me. Let's not forget about the great and friendly service. Give them a try. You won't be sorry.
