Mama Mia's on Greenfield is unassuming on the outside. The sign on top of the building suggests a classic diner or some cheesy pizza parlor, but inside Mama Mia's is a subtly stylish Italian restaurant, a tad romantic and intimate without pretension. Mama Mia's pizza is incredible; definitely one of the top 10 places to enjoy pizza in the Milwaukee area, but their strongest suit is their garlic bread, rivaled only by the likes of Buca's. Their pizza specialty is thin crust, with exquisite cheese and sauce. Mama Mia's has little touches such as dimmer lighting, making it perfect for a different place to take a date, but with a family-friendly atmosphere. Mama Mia's offers a complete menu of Italian dishes, touching on the points from pasta to pizza, offering enough variety to please almost anyone. Mama Mia's also offers carry-out for those who would like to enjoy their meal at home.

First stop when visiting

My family lives in the Milwaukee area, as I did until getting out of high scholl in 1967. I would not think of visiting Milwaukee without going to Mama Mias THE FIRST NIGHT. Whenever we visit from our home in Florida, friends and family know if they want to see us that first night they better plan on Mama Mias. Love the pizza, love the garlic bread and who else can boast of a bowling alley across the street as a waiting area, (they'll page you there). It's the best!
Add CommentDelicious food!
Mryfu, I'm sorry that you live 4 hours away from Mama Mia's. We only live 4 minutes away, but for some reason we forget to go there often enough. I don't know why. Everything is really good - pizza, garlic bread, salad, pasta. Even their Coke (from a fountain) is better than at other places.
the best!
mama mias is the best i have ever had, i love the pizza, and the garlic bread is out of this world!
i crave it, and live 4 hrs/ away, so it's hard to come by.Top Notch- ALWAYS!!
The best lasagne- TONS of cheese and sauce! The pizza is crisp and wonderful! The garlic bread is to die for! Anything you order will be THE BEST!!!
Saturday Night
Take-out: Breaded Mushrooms, Italian beef sandwitch, spaghetti, garlic bread. Mushrooms not cooked completely, ran out of proper bread for the beef sandwitch (used bread), could not cut garlic bread with a steak knife (over-cooked), spaghetti was swimming in water with little sauce, could not even understand phone operator taking order. Very poor! Used to be very good years ago. Steadly going down hill. I would not recommed it now compared to Buca's.
TO KILL GARLIC BREAD
I love Mama Mia's they are a desent priced resturant with a load of good tasting italian food. For a first timer you got to make sure you get the garlic bread, its to die for!
Stay away
