Le Bistro Shanghai, located in the former home of Wang Sang Express, tries to bring Chinese dining to the western edge of Milwaukee County. From the outside, Le Bistro Shanghai comes across like any of the chain restaurants or diners lining Highway 100. But this restaurant stands out because of its menu, which features many Chinese classics, something for any lover of Mandarin cuisine, along with other pan-Asian delights picked from throughout the Pacific Rim. The food is quality cuisine with a low price tag attached. Like other denizens of the old address, Le Bistro Shanghai includes a drive-thru for those seeking an Asian fix in a hurry. Probably the biggest problem facing the Bistro is that nothing seems to catch on in that particular location, having been home to several restaurants in the past few years, including at least two Chinese places.
