In the former home of Salumeria on Hudson rests Seattle's only certified Neapolitan pizza joint. Enthusiastic founder Joe Fugere took his passion across the Atlantic to perfect his technique in the home of pizza, and the results are displayed in every bubbly crisp crust that emerges from the wood-fired oven. Delve into the house-named Tutta Bella, with tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, caramelized onions, hot sausage, mushrooms and parmigiano cheese. Start with a salad or have it after, European style. Can't decide between salad or pizza? Try the tasty pizza salad, topped with a Tutta Bella Mista. A handful of tasty wines complement the menu, with several choices available by the glass. Towering stacks of boxes are testament to a brisk take-out business, but many locals are happier to dine in, at a sturdy pine table beneath high ceilings supported by burgundy and mustard walls. If the waves of heat rolling from the oven don't warm the cockles of your heart, the happy, welcoming staff will. Cool down with a scoop of gelato or sorbetto: the oh-so-tart 'limone' is sure to shock the most jaded of tastebuds.

Doing what they do well
This restaurant serves authentic Neopolitan pizza and salads. It's not an extrememly varied menu, but they're very good at what they do. The Ensalata di Napoli has everything but the kitchen sink and it's delicious. All the produce is extremely fresh and tasty. If you like exotic pizza, you must try this place.

My husband and I first visited Seattle in June 05, by March 06 we were moving here from VA. We have been here for a bit over a year and have eaten at Tutta's at lease once a month (for our monthly outtings). We have always enjoyed the food and we haven't had the same pizza twice. The salads are the best also. I give this place a two-thumbs up at both locations. Keep up the good work guys and remain in the number one spot for our Seattle Pizza places to go.
Napoli in Seattle

If you've ever been to Napoli, you'll know that this pizza is the real deal. With every bite, I'm reminded of the pizzerias in Naples, Italy. The crust is perfect as are the flavorful toppings, which are not overdone like American pizzas. The others just don't compare. Also, nowhere else will you find better espresso and tiramisu to top off the meal. The pizza is bellissimo!
Cheese (response)

I have to add that in response to my complaint about the cheese, the owner, Joe, sent me a very gracious e mail, saying he was passing mine on to his staff, inviting me to have a free pizza, and telling me that if a customer specified his desires when ordering the pizza would be made any way he wanted.
I couldn't really ask for more. No wonder the restaurant was so crowded when I went! I'll certainly go again.A taste of Naples in Seattle

As close to perfect as any restaurant could ever hope to be, Tutta Bella is the best, authentic Neapolitan pizzeria anyone could ever hope to experience. (It's the only one of its kind in the Seattle area)
The staff is warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is casual yet exciting. Lastly, but certainly not least, the food is uber exceptional! The pizza is simple, light and fresh as can be. The salads are wonderfully crisp and delicious. You certainly can't beat the price.
Tutta Bella has earned the reputable right to be called authentic. A pizzeria by any other name simply can't compete on the same plane.
(Note: If you're married to the Americanized version of pizza with thick crust, a gallon of sauce, cheese piled high with a mountain of toppings, this is not the place for you. Don't go in expecting to order a Hawaiian. You won't find any Canadian bacon and pineapples at Tutta Bella).Outstanding Neapolitan pizza

This is without question the best authentic Neapolitan pizza in the area. I thought when I read initial reviews that it might be hype. I am a bit skeptical as to claims of excellence by many pizzerias because of my being of Italian extraction and having lived in some of the best pizza cities in the U.S. While Tutta Bella may not stand up to the truly excellent pizzerias in N.Y.C. and San Francisco, for example, it is the best there is around here. And that is plenty good enough for me. Lou Lotorto
