To architecturally sum up the Triple Door as a theater would be to visually sum up the Space Needle as a building: Yes, the curtains draw and the music plays, but the structural intimacy of sight and sound almost defies venue definition. Strategically stacked for optimum privacy, each wood-backed booth ensures total anonymity among the 230-seat enclosure -- allowing you and your guests to experience a virtual, one-on-one performance. For an even further setting of remote privacy, four overlooking, glass-shielded suites mount the theater's second story, each with its own light-activated service request. Enjoy a bottle of European wine and a plate of Mediterranean tapas, while absorbing the atmosphere -- the Triple Door's menu is as lively as its stage.
Decades ago the Embassy Theatre stood in place of the Triple Door's lower level, serving much of the Seattle area as a Roaring '20s-era vaudeville and motion picture house. Much of the original terra-cotta siding has been restored along the theater's edge, as well as its golden-dipped ceiling, bordered with rosettes and acanthus leaves. Still, contemporary craftsmanship dominates much of theater's gut, as well as the second-story bar. Standing well on its own as a savvy, downtown drinking spot, the 150-seat domain duals nicely as a chat-friendly listening lounge during performances.
Wild Ginger owners Rick and Ann Yoder have put years -- and millions -- into ensuring the Triple Door advances in the Northwest as a revolutionary concept in melodic privacy, while also securing an affordable option for concert goers citywide. Music from jazz and blues to African beats and Latin grooves actively rules the Triple Door stage. Intimacy, however, definitely rules the isles.

Unique and wonderful
Love this place for their choices of music, entertainment and food. Is at time spicy, but fantastic. Every seat is a good one.

The best music venue in Seattle in which you can drink alcohol in the showroom, bettering Jazz Alley. Tiered seating, tables, good service, small dancing area. I'd give it 5* but the food wasn't too good. Seattle music message board: www.mtheads.com
fabulous and unique

This place is AMAZING, you can see a variety of live performances while enjoying excellent dishes from a fantastic menu in one of the most romantic and elegant theatres I have ever been in. All the people working there are wonderful and charming, always smiling honestly, and the owners even mingle in the crowd or look over the incredible fish tank that lines the entrance walkway!
I recommend the triple door 100%!
