Decades ago the Embassy Theatre stood in place of the Triple Door's lower level, serving much of the Seattle area as a Roaring '20s-era vaudeville and motion picture house. Much of the original terra-cotta siding has been restored along the theater's edge, as well as its golden-dipped ceiling, bordered with rosettes and acanthus leaves. Still, contemporary craftsmanship dominates much of theater's gut, as well as the second-story bar.
