The ambiance is courtesy of Mother Nature, with seating for at least 100 at a plethora of picnic tables provided by owners Ron and Deborah Wise. She's the nice lady who takes your order at the window; he's the guy in back cooking up a mess of saucy, sassy meats. For more than 20 years this husband-and-wife team have dished it out to a steady stream of blue-collar, white-collar and no-collar fans addicted to their beef brisket dripping with peppery sauce, slabs of ham or rich, slow-cooked pork (ask for it "spiked" with a hot sausage link) served on soft, onion buns. The side of baked beans in a styrofoam cup is chunky with pork. It's lunch-only here -- they close at 3 or 4PM (depending on the season) -- but if it's dinner you want they'll pack up all the fixings for assembly later. Or if the tables are full and you crave almost instant gratification, they'll bag it for you -- along with plenty of napkins.

This Is the best in Seattle by far. I've never had that much BBQ beef on on bun anywhere. and that's saying something! I've been going there since
1980. Sometimes I just order it "Dry" no sause, because the flavor is so dang good from the wood they use. Keep it up Ron & Deborah.
    They call me - Downhill

I've been going to Pecos for years and I'm sure I'll be going back in the years to come or at least until they retire. Really nice people who own and operate the business; you're never a stranger to them, only a friend they haven't met yet - they're very down to earth, good folks. With great food and friendly service - how can one go wrong???

The best Shredded pork or beef brisket sandwhich in the Northwest. The way BBQ was ment to be. Takes me back home to the south everytime. A "must do" place for those that want the best in there BBQ. Don't forget the beans and if you are adventures ask them to "Spike" your Sandwich.

Best BBQ beef or pork sandwiches in the area. Watch out if you order "Hot", best stick with medium or mild. We drive down from Snohomish to get the best!!!

I have been eating at the Pecos Pit for almost 20 years. The quality is always high, the taste is always great and the smile is always warm. My favorite is sliced beef with the medium sauce. The best in town. Probably the best north of the Texas border.
