Dishing It Out In Freemont

While on vacation in Seattle, took a side trip to Freemont (the self-designated center of the universe)/had breakfast at the Dish Cafe. Overall food very good/innovative (the special the day I went was ginger rice pudding pancakes). All sorts of interesting omlettes (settled on their Greek one with feta cheese/black olives). But my favorite was their scones which is more like a flat/square muffin. My only knocks: Place very small/has about 10 tables total plus counter. Not real close to the main area in Freemont/located about a mile away in a non-descript/industrial area. Very interesting mix of customers (from car mechanics to bohemian artists).

joycebaum - 09/29/2005We had breakfast at the Dish mid September. The food is great as is the service and atmosphere. A great find for us and anyone in Seattle. Wish it was in my hometown!!
