Skate-N-Fun Zone is one of those rare venues that can be enjoyed by children and adults. Before entering the rink, skaters must first sign a waiver conceding that any injury incurred is not the responsibility of Skate-N-Fun Zone. Naturally, the goal is not to hurt yourself while skating. As children on in-lines come blazing by with NASCAR-like speed, adults creep around the rink, hugging the wall for dear life. The grown- ups are neither breaking the sound barrier, nor winning any style points. They are grinning from ear to ear and laughing soundly at their ineptitude, vocally wondering what happened to roller skating skills honed when they were children. The children, winded from their record setting paces, periodically take breaks from the rink. On their break, they play video games and listen to pulsating Top 40 tunes pounding from speakers systematically placed throughout the establishment. And when hunger strikes, they wander over to the snack bar for a hot dog or freshly baked pizza. This roller rink is fun.
