Jennifer Boyle, D.V.M.

Dr. Jennifer Boyle is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but moved to the Northern Virginia area in 2007. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Allegheny College in 2003. She then obtained her doctor of veterinary medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and finished her clinical year of study at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Dr. Boyle has been working at Leesburg Veterinary Hospital since October 2010.

John Michael Strickland, D.V.M. Diplomate A.B.V.P. Companion Animal Practice

Dr. Strickland, the practice owner, is a University of Georgia graduate, receiving his DVM in 1979. In 1993, he became board certified in companion animal practice and is a member of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. Only 2% of small animal veterinarians are board certified. His special interests are in reproduction and surgery. His standards are high, and he has made Leesburg Veterinary Hospital into an AAHA-certifi

Laura Rosenthal, D.V.M.

Dr. Laura Rosenthal earned a B.S. in Animal Science from Virginia Tech in 2000 and her DVM from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Originally from Silver Spring, MD, Dr. Rosenthal is relocating from Western North Carolina and is very happy to be joining Leesburg Veterinary Hospital and live closer to her roots.

Lauren Kloer, D.V.M.

Dr. Lauren Kloer has been a veterinary associate at Leesburg Veterinary Hospital since July 2010 and enjoys the friendly and professional atmosphere, the amazing clients and all their wonderful pets! Dr. Kloer was born in rural Nebraska and grew up on a farm and ranch in eastern Colorado. She received her bachelor of science degree in zoology from Colorado State University and then later attended CSU for her veterinary education. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2009.
