Rumors are flying that this no-frills newcomer is the next generation of burger joint, a welcome and wanted alternative to mechanized fast food giants. Quick and casual, Elevation Burger serves up inexpensive eats including organic patties (using Virginia Kobe beef), veggie burgers and French fries cooked in olive oil. A straightforward menu offers hamburgers, cheeseburgers and two types of veggie burger -- one tastes like meat, the other like veggies. For a bite of both worlds, try 1/2 the Guilt Burger with combo patties of both veggie and meat.

Veggie burgers and buns are always cooked separately from the meat. Though the veggie burger is vegan, the buns are not. If you want a vegan burger, skip the bun and order the 'tastes like veggie #2' wrapped in lettuce. Factor in a treat like a milk shake, malt or oatmeal cookie and you'll still pay under $10.     I've eaten here twice since it opened less than 2 years ago. I was very please with both times, the burgers are tasty and unlike the rest are not full of grease. They also have awesome milkshakes. Enjoy!

    It's hard to screw up a burger. While yes, I'd say it's better than five guys... not as greasy, and the organic part is nice... but in terms of 1) what you get for what you pay, its not that great... and 2) taste just does not compare to say... The Diner on 18th street in Adams Morgan... now that's a burger!

    Best burger around. Worth the wait. Pure beef, not fillers or fatty. The fries are so good, they could be healthy. Get the burger messy!

    These guys are as good if not better than Five Guys. I tried them last week just before Christmas for lunch and went back the same night to get dinner. The Prices are reasonalble the Fries are very good. I did not Try the milkshakes but saw some being made, they looked good, i will have to get one next time.

    If your in the mood for a burger, you definitally want to make the trip to Evelation Burgers.
