Welcome to the Little River Veterinary Clinic!

After entering our building, the reception desk is to your immediate left, and the weighing station is directly in front of you. Here a client is greeted by two of our friendly and professional receptionists, Stephanie Seeger (left) and Ali Baltes (right).

After being called by the receptionist, your pet will be taken into an exam room, where it will be evaluated by one of our veterinarians. We have 3 fully equipped examination rooms at the Little River Veterinary Clinic.

Our spacious waiting room lets you relax with your pet before seeing the doctor. We also have a special area set up to entertain the kids!

Our Services
Preventive Medicine - Preventive Medicine includes, heartworm testing and protection, fluoride treatments for puppy and kittens.

Surgery - Routine surgeries including spay and neuter, as well as more complicated surgeries.

Dental work - Cleaning including ultrasonic scaling, polishing, fluoride treatment, and the new OraVet® sealant! Extractions only as needed.

Boarding - Veterinarian supervised, experienced kennel staff. Three leash walks outside daily, air-conditioned. Spacious areas to separate cats and dogs. Lots of love and care.

Ultrasound - High quality ultrasound to help diagnosis health issues.

Vaccinations - Annual vaccinations and health exams to keep your pet healthy. Now also offering some vaccinations every three years!

Grooming - Hydrosurge ® bathing equipment. Pedicures, ear cleaning, anal expressions, and de-matt services available.

Biography:
Dr. Jiyou Park

Dr. Park received her Bachelor degree from Arizona State University and Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Korea. She received her veterinary degree from Purdue University of School of Veterinary Medicine. She moved to the Northern Virginia area after graduation and joined Little River in 2009. She is fluent in Korean and enjoys traveling with her family and two dogs Buja and Kamji.


Biography:
Dr. Judy Downs

Dr. Downs purchased Little River Veterinary Clinic in 1997. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She has been in active clinical practice for over 19 years, specializing in cats and dogs. In her spare time from the clinic, Dr. Downs is the mother of two children. She has a house full of pets, including two dogs, a cat, and a bird.


Biography:
Dr. Sandra Marshall

Dr. Marshall received her Bachelor degree from Cornell University and her veterinary degree from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. She practiced one year in New Jersey and then relocated to the Northern Virginia area, when she joined Little River in 2003. Dr. Marshall enjoys horseback riding and her three cats, Griffin, Booger and Cornell. Cornell is the newest addition to her household, he was just rescued. She also volunteers with Alley Cat Allies, a local feral cat
