Hearty appetites in search of generous portions can't help but relish the bigger is better menu offerings of Texas Land & Cattle Steak House. Located below street level, on the picturesque River Walk, this restaurant boasts the lure of an authentic Texas ranch. Stone flooring, large fireplaces and generous table spacing contribute to its rustic, and relaxing, atmosphere. As its name more than implies, this place is all about the beef. Whether it's hearty pepper-smoked sirloin or steak served up Mexican-style with Jack cheese and pico de gallo, beef-lovers should be impressed with available selections. Grilled chicken, baby back ribs, seafood and marinated quail are also savory menu offerings. Top off your meal with slice of Jack Daniel's Pie -- a rich confection loaded with chocolate chips and pecans and topped with vanilla ice cream. For special occasions, reserve the private dining room that seats up to 100 people. -- Chris Jones

WOW!!!
Just moved to Texas and absolutely love this place. We started with fresh made lemonade, the real thing!! Onion rings, fries and unbelievable ribs. This is my new favorite place to eat. Prices and service were great!!! Looking forward to having my birthday party here.

TLC says it best. Tender Loving Care. The best service and the food is out of this world!
.
Great smoked Sirloin steak, lean and tasty. Also those that dont care for red meat, the grilled Salmon and Trout are good choices. Salad comes with dinner. Price is much better than Saltgrass and not as loud. Shiner Bock bread is great!
