Overpriced is an understatement. When I drop over $125 for my wife and me to have an appetizer, mid-priced steak and to SHARE a dessert-everything better be perfect. It's not. Wait staff is ho-hum. Ambiance is bland-not much in the way of character. But you do have the bonus of perhpas being seen by someone you know when you leave the restaurant drive by and say, "Wow-is that so and so? They can afford to eat there? Wow..." If that's how you roll, then this place is for you.

For the money spent I would expect better service, atmosphere, and food. The steaks are decent, but that's it. To be honest, I've had better service and food at a Texas roadhouse. Go to Mortons or Saltgrass.

Waste of time and money

I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. The service was horrible and the food was just as bad. Waste of time and money.

My husband and I went for a late valentines last week and as always R.C. does not disappoint. We go there for just about every special occasion. I think it's better than Morton's, although they are excellent too. The service is always good, this time our waitress was a little flighty but nice and got our order right so it was all good in the end, just not used to that at R.C. The only down side to Ruth's is the cost, can't afford to go there all the time.

were new to san antonio and have been trying tons of steak houses ruths is by far the best! 5 stars all the way
