More often than not, only yuppie business types or the avant-garde visit a mid-echelon sushi bar. However, Goro's Sushi allows the opportunity for a family or a younger (albeit still trendy) set to experience sushi without the pretentiousness. A local favorite, Goro's mixes the traditional sushi-bar setting with a romantically lit, sparser-than-usual dining atmosphere. You can sit at the sushi bar or, if you are with a larger group, grab a table. Goro's features a sushi happy hour Monday through Friday 5-8PM, as well as a substantial selection of beer and wine. The sushi is offered in many varieties, including the popular hamachi (yellowtail).
