Club Cohiba can be described in two words: classy and cool. This little hideaway is located in the basement of the Havana River Walk Inn and is a favorite getaway for San Antonio professionals. The bar is meticulously decorated in the nostalgic spirit of the '40s and '50s with leather chairs and oak tables. The music is cool, jazzy and always played at a level that allows you to enjoy it without being drowned out of your private conversations. And as if the sophisticated, comfortable atmosphere weren't enough, the staff is exceptional, treating every guest like a VIP. With its warm, inviting interior and top-notch service, Club Cohiba is an excellent choice for meetings with business clients, or as part of a special date. Try to stop by during happy hour, when the drinks, while always delicious, are a bit less pricey.

    This was the first and last time I go to this bar. I found it to be extremely pretentious. The bartender was RUDE and homophobic. She literally refused to serve my friend and I. After letting friends know of my experience, they told me this person had refused to serve them at various visits. Overall, I would not frequent this hole in the ground (literally). There are better, more sophisticated, and welcoming bars in San Antonio

    bartender was overwhelmed by small crowd, couches & furniture all need to be replaced or refurbished. Would not recommend this place to friends or family.

    We thought this bar was great!! Very cozy with a lot of mature people--not just kids partying away. We will definitely return!!

    Ya gotta love this place. From the antique mirrirs on the walls, the great choice of music, to the fantastic service. This is a fabulous hide away I hope the masses do not find.

    Best martini bar in town. If you're a fan of the movie "SWINGERS", please stay away! This place has fantastic service, an intimate atmosphere, and martinis to die for! It's tbe best kept secret in town. It's not for the kiddie crowd. Drinks aren't cheap, and you won't be treated that way either.
