Chef Jason Dady gives guests of Bin 555 Restaurant & Wine Bar reason to linger around the dining table. Located toward the rear of Artisans Alley shopping center, Bin 555 presents a warm dining atmosphere. Polished wood floors, golden walls decked with colorful graphic posters and high-backed booths with elegantly busy upholstery draw you in. The intimate interior spaces complement Chef Dadys meze-style entrees -- small plates ripe for sharing with everyone at the table. The modest servings, designated Freddo, Cotto and Wood Oven, include the French-inspired Lump Crab Napoleon with creamy avocado-lime aioli and chile vinaigrette as well as the roasted pork shoulder with mango-mint salsa. A variety of the meze portions (about 3 or 4 per person) allow a diverse dining experience. Should you decide to commit to just one selection, you can opt for the Grande Piastra plate with its full-sized portions for one like Tuscan ribeye, smoky Kurobota pork loin and grilled shrimp with Russian banana fingerlings, scallions and lemon aioli. Pair your meal with a glass (or bottle) of wine from Bin 555's extensive wine list. When the weather allows, enjoy your meal and the boutique scenery on the open patio.

  • VETO BIN !!!

When Bin first opened my family and friends went quite often. Portions were small but at least good. Last night my husband and I ate at Bin with 2 friends of ours. I hate to complain when we are with others so I must respond now. The concept of sharing portions is ridiculous when the portions are less than a 3oz serving, much less. "Would you like a bite of my bite?"My salad was small, but fine. My husband's soup has decreased in size since we last came, but okay. Why does this place not serve bread? One of our dishes was a sliver of squash and a sliver of zucchini, then the four of us actually went through the farce of cutting it up into four portions. The the overcooked lamb (mystery meat) was served in the middle of the table with small plates, I wanted to laugh. Then the unflavorful chicken nugget sized duck that my husband and I ordered, caused me to excuse myself so that I wouldn't get angry. The fried banana dessert wasn't too flavorful, but atleast it was larger. I know the owner, chef, and servers must laugh at all of us (yes, it was busy) because we are too pretentious to refuse the absurd. If this trend catches on I will serve a single cornish hen, maybe a mozzerella stick, and saltine cracker for Thanksgiving next year and invite the neighbors for dinner. I can't wait to see how fun it will be to slice a single oreo cookie. Finally, a place where wealthy anorexics can eat!!

  • Tasty, but small portions

Bin 555 has real potential for being a great place. During lunch I found the portions very small for the price.
I ordered their oven grilled shrimp which had fantastic flavor, but there were only three shrimp and a tiny half piece of toast to soak up the awesome garlic butter. When I asked for more bread, I got an even smaller sliver of toast. Knowing that bread is inexpensive, I would have been fine with only three shrimp if I had more bread to soak up all those juices!
I don't understand how a simple ingredient can be so lacking.

The waiter was overbearing and treated the party of six as if we were as dumb as rock.
The flavor of the food was splendid, but in my opinion, the portions were really skimpy. The wine selection was good, but overpriced.
I am must be accustomed to the type of Tapas restaurants in other parts of the country (Chicago, New York) because this one is really over priced for the plates presented.
