Not the most amazing food around, but few top the atmosphere.

If you're a pizza-lover coming to Big Lou's and expecting the pest pizza you've ever had, you may want to try somewhere else. But if you're the kind of person who loves pizza and loves to party, I'd recommend no place more than Big Lou's.
A good friend of mine introduced me to Lou's last summer, when he had a birthday party there. I had heard of the place, but never stepped inside. When I saw the 37-inch behemoth of a pizza that was laid before me, I knew I was about to have a great time.
The atmosphere is friendly a noisy, the way any great party place would be. Though the space is a bit cramped, Big Lou's makes up for itself with great food and a fun place to be.
The food is not the most memorable, though it still is great. The hot wings are nothing short of amazing, with a great kick in the sauce. The pizza is great, being loaded with so much sauce, cheese, and toppings that it falls off the crust. If you're a habitually clean eater, you definitely need to stay away. But if you don't mind some mess with your food, Big Lou's is where it's at.
All in all, Big Lou's is a place with great food, friendly people, and is an all-around fun place. I'd highly recommend it for anyone who wants a cool place to chill on the weekends.

I'VE BEEN GOING TO BIG LOU'S FOR YEARS. GREAT PIZZA! SERIOUSLY! AND THEIR PIZZA WRAPS OR ROLLS (WHATEVER THE CALL 'EM) ARE DEEEEEELISH! TRY IT FOR YOURSELF. IT'S REALLY WORTH IT!

I've been to pizza places all over the country, this is the best pizza in SA hands down. With the exception of a few rather rude employees, it is a can't miss pizza experience.

I have been going to Big Lous Pizza for quiet a while now and i have never tryed anything better! I'm a person who loves to try new things but noone elses pizza can compare to Big Lous!!! And its not just there pizza its thier wings and bread and lasagna too! Everything just melts in your mouth! But yes I do have to say the service there can be ruff at times, but you can not blame them because the types of ignorant people they have to deal with that just complain and complain i mean anyone would act like that so eveyone GIVE THEM A BREAK ALREADY! Seriously if you ran a restraunt and have to deal with everything, i do not think you would act any different. And the ordering is a little different since you have to order first then sit, but they are not the only restraunt that does that either, many fancy restraunts do too so once again GIVE THEM A BREAK!!! But I love Big Lous and the staff there, they are extremely friendly and very nice and caring and treat you like family all the time! So do not change a thing!!

I've been to Big Lou's several times and it never lets me down! I travel from the north side of town just to eat their pizza & wings because nothing else compares! It is UMMM UMMM GOOD! :)

The service from the waitstaff all the way to the owner was the worst I've ever experienced. I will never go bak there again. They took too long with my order and were very unwilling to refund my money. The manager stated the owner's (which is also the cook) the boss and he makes up the rules.I told them to keep their food.

When we got there we waited about 20 minutes just to get our order placed. The waiter that finally seated up 30 minutes later, aside from looking like an escaped con with all the body art, was rude. We waited another 30 minutes to get our food, and that was after repeatedly asking for our drinks. When the food finally came out, the crust was burned and hard on the pizza and the wraps were doughy and raw on the inside. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Good Food, Bad Service!!!

The food was good, but the service was horrible. We waited in line for 15 minutes with only 1 person in front of us to place an order. Then we waited another 15 minutes to be seated and once we were seated, it took them 20 minutes to bring our drinks. By the time we received our food, we had to ask for to go boxes because our 1-hour lunch break was over and we got back to work late!! But the food was good. Next time we'll call ahead 1 hour. And they're expensive with very little to choose from on the menu. They only give you 1 refill on sodas and lemonade where most restaurants give you unlimited refills. For the price we paid for food, refills should be included. By the way, the waiter with tatoos all over his arms sucked!!
