This vibrant hot spot presents a delicious combination of Cuban, Latin American and Caribbean cuisine. Split by a rock-lined pathway, Azuca features a colorful dining room on one side, and a hoppin' bar with great margaritas and signature mojitos on the other. Both are generally packed with locals enjoying the refreshing alternative to the standard San Antonio Tex-Mex fare. If you like to tango or are into salsa or merengue, stop by the bar side. A live Latin orchestra spices things up on weekends. Exquisite works from neighbor Garcia's Art Glass adorn the walls and tables, giving the place a 'fire and ice' kind of feel. The menu is quite extensive and populated with delicacies such as conch fritters, Latin pasta paella and Chilean sea bass. An appealing wine list complements the menu well. Don't miss the caramelized banana crepes for dessert.

Don't just eat the great food, head to the dance floor! Go, you won't be sorry!

My husband and I went for a light lunch and decided to order their delicious mojitos and share the appetizer plate. The presentation was wonderful and the food even better. The plantains and scampi al ajilo were good, but let me take a moment to rave about my favorites. The ceviche had just the right amount of tanginess, the crab cakes melted in my mouth and the coconut shrimp with the calypso sauce...well, let's just say I will dream about those until my next visit!

Friday night is Salsa night for those that love to dance. The chicken Azteca is excellent. Has become one of my favorite resturants.

Went for my b-day last year & it has quickly become my absolute favorite restaurant! Love going on Thurs. nights for the flamenco & paella! A little pricey, but worth every penny!

They have an rather small and expensive menu limited to Caribbean selections. It is quality food and always an interesting plate presentation. Anyone familiar with Caribbean food will appreciate items such as tostones, Pibil Boxito, Bistec and many others. The Viña del Mar salad was a little bland but the octopus was cooked perfectly tender. Everything else I've tasted there has been excellent. I give them four stars instead of five because of the price.

Haven't had great food and great service since the Condado in San Juan Puerto Rico, this is as close as you get in Texas. Five stars, we recommend it. Thanks!
