First Timers

This restaurant was quite a find!
The interior was beautiful, which you would never have guessed as the restaurant is in a small shopping center on Preston Road. Our reservations were early, so the place only had two other tables occupied, but as the evening progressed you could see the regulars coming in large groups. Most of them seemed to know each other; members from one table greeting members from another table with their traditional left, right, left cheek kisses.
Our table had 4 guests; and the menu was well rounded, it even included dishes for the simple palate. I ordered the Chicken Rollatini - WOW - was this a delicious meal. The crab meat, the sauce, the chicken were absolutely heavenly; the only reason I did not finish and take home leftovers was so that I may enjoy my favorite dessert - Tiramisu. The Tiramisu was good, but not the best I have ever had. The other guests meals ranged from Chicken Fettucini Alfredo, which received a huge thumbs up from it's consumer; another guest had the Chicken Saltimbocca, the portion was generous and the wine sauce was perfect; last but not least our 4th guest had the filet mignon. If your looking for a grilled steak this is not it. The steak is pan seared with a brandy mushroom sauce, the flavor is different from what "steak men" are used to but non the less the meat was done to perfection and the sauce was good.
We look forward to dining here in the future, and next time we are going to try the Mediterranean menu.

We just tried it and it was great. The chicken florentine was great, the lemon white sauce was perfect and the price was cheap. The entire menu is low priced, a great value for all

A must dine in kind of place!!
The scent of authentic Italian food can be found here, a scent found in only the best Italian Rest. Every special on the menu is truely unique, bring in a bottle of your favorite wine to enjoy with your meal, service is very attentative, prices very reasonable, well worth a drive to Palestine, Texas.
