The laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere of Texas Roadhouse is apparent from the moment you walk in the door. If you have to wait a few minutes for a table, just reach into the barrel of shelled, roasted peanuts that's located just inside the restaurant's entrance and draw back a handful to munch on. Never mind the shells -- just toss 'em on the floor, if you're so inclined. Before you know it, you're seated at your booth or table tearing into warm, soft rolls that you can slather with cinnamon-honey butter. Steak lovers can expect to feel right at home here. Hand-cut choice sirloin, ribeye and prime rib that weighs in at up to 16 ounces are just a few of the hearty steak choices. There are also tender barbecue ribs and chicken, grilled salmon and pork chops along with sides like sweet potatoes, steak fries and selected green veggies, of course. Texas Roadhouse's full bar allows you to step away from your dining party, grab a drink and check out the latest sports action at one of its mounted TV screens. You can reduce your wait time (if not eliminate it altogether) by trying the call ahead seating option. Just be sure to arrive no less than 10 minutes prior to your quoted seating time.

Travel 80 miles
My huband and I go there every other Sunday and travel 80 miles to get there and 80 miles back we bring friends with us and we just love it. The roll, potato, salad there is never a problem with are food and the servers are so nice. it's the best and the price is right.
Add CommentThe BEST in town

The price is right. I have been to all of the Steak houses in this area and some in other states. This is by far the best. Dana is the bset GM the place could ever have she makes everyone feel at home. We have been going there ever since she started there and keep going back.
Great Steaks
We eat at this restaurant often. The bread is to die for, the steaks always cooked to perfection, the ribs are excellent. Have never had a bad meal. When family/friends come to visit - this is the restaurant we go to EVERY time!
Visitors
We have out of town visitors quite often and we always make it a point to take them to "The Texas Roadhouse". It never fails to impress them about Texas.
One time when we went we celebrated my husband's birthday. He was asked to ride the saddle while the help serenaded him and everyone in the restaurant yelled out the Texas Hee-Haw at the end. Our quests were so impressed with the texas hospitality that they decided to hold their next reunion in San Antonio.
The help is so friendly and the food is outstanding. I have never had a bad meal there.Ummm, ummm GOOD! 1/3/2007
The bread is so good and the steaks literally melt in your mouth. Even the bar drinks are on point.
Always good

Maybe I should't rate them this high because it is always crowed there, and more people checking this place out won't help.
My steaks have been cooked perfect and are very tender. The service is friendly too. The prices are not out of sight like some of the others. When we eat out for steaks we come here,Texas Roadhouse.Family--Friendly
I've been places that said they were family oriented, but really
wasn't. This Restaurant is every thing for a family and more. Friendly people working there, all seemly like brothers and sisters, caring. I appreciate the hospitality that was shown to my
husband and I,Thank you, so much.Poor Food service
Ordered a steak medium well; arrived burned on the outside , well done inside, tuff. manager was told and he ordered a new one, server took baked potato off and onto another plate, not wanting to eat a cold potato ate it; 10-15 minutes later steak came just right but I was already full by eating potato, bread and peanuts I could only eat a few bites of the steak. My husband had finished eating his meal by the time the steak arrived. Need somone to check out the cook more closely.
