    The fact that this restaurant is on this list just goes to show how outdated and unreliable this survey is. Felix's is gone... has been gone for quite a while. This ratings list needs some help!

    Our family ate there for five generations. It is a loss to Houston and very sad.

    Shame on those who criticize and compare it to Taco Bell. Hope they enjoy Taco Bell.

    If this site is still advising to go to resturant that has been closed for months you have to question their other picks as well. Also their is a reason this placed closed. If you had eaten there in the last year and said it was great Tex Mex you need to change your diet to Taco Bell, which is and was better than this place. It may have been grand in the "old days" but those days are long gone.

    The very best but sadly after eating there since I was age 5 this 60+ babyboomer and wife saw it was closed last month. None better will you ever find, anywhere.

    Been a fan over 55 years as a child in Beaumont and for a long time in Houston. Chile con queso is unique. Unlike any other, which makes their cheese enchiladas so good (because they are stuffed with the queso). This is the only place I order cheese enchiladas instead of beef.

    Myself and my family have been going there for years!!! I love their food and they always have excellent service. My fav is the chile con queso and beef enchaladas, but EVERYTHING on the menu is EXCELLENT!!!

    We have been going to Felix's for 35 years. It has ALWAYS been the best Tex-Mex food we have ever had. I judge other Tex-Mex by Felix's meals. We will continue to enjoy itfor as long as it is open. I work overseas and I always make Felix's my first meal upon returning home. It is that good.

    I was shocked to see this restaurant on here. I am not going to trust the website anymore because this is the absolute worst food, no just tex-mex, EVER!!! First, the hot sauce was really bad, but we decided to give it a chance so we ordered the queso. I bowl of yellow cheese came out with an inch of greese on top! I would not give this food to my dog!

    I have been eating at Felix's since I had teeth to chomp down those tasty tacos. There is nothing better than a taco dinner from Felix's mexican restuarant. I am appauled to see that some people had the audacity to say that the food was not up to par. These are people who have only had taco bell throughout their life, and assume that is how mexican food is suppose to be. If you love mexican food, REAL mexican food, Felix's is the best by far!
