Scotty P's offers what so many family-friendly restaurants these days don't -- a sense of community, the pleasure of dining in a family-run establishment and the knowledge that your dinner isn't being provided by a huge corporate climate. Instead, Scotty P's relies on basic-but-delicious burgers and salads, terrific onion rings and fries, ice cream shakes and homemade chili. Cardiac fries, a pile of potatoes smothered in mounds of cheddar cheese, bacon bits and jalapenos, and served with a side of creamy buttermilk ranch dressing, are one of the most popular selections on the menu. However, there is also wide variety of children's meals, and kids are given crayons and a cartoon to color while they wait. Scotty P's is largely self-service; diners place their order at the counter then pick up their meal when their number is called. But the lack of waitstaff cuts down on costs, enabling visitors to order more of the food they love. Scotty P's is like a burger joint should be. -- Nancy Rosenberg

    Although served with big meat patty, a single is plenty, it lacks taste and too dry. Shreded lettuce just becomes soggy. Onions remind me of another burger place with a clown spokesperson. Cheap bun that I would expect at church cookout. Fries & rings bland. Finally, not that inexpensive . I dont mind spending over $10 for lunch, but not this time.

    I ate at the new Scotty P's at Firewheel yesterday. Had never been to one. My hamburger was SO good and had such great flavor. The onion rings were wonderful also! I think this is my new favorite hamburger place!

    We have eaten at the Preston, and McDermott, locations many times.

    Never a bad burger.

    Employees friendly, courteous: providing quick service.

    Against the others, including Kellers where we do Saturday Night cruises - no comparision, Scotty P's each time!

    if you've ever been to Johnnies in Edmond, OK.....same place different town
