There's nothing like pizza to bring a family together. Parents and children alike have reason to love this pizzeria just outside the Houston city limits. Behind all this wholesome goodness is another family one that is very serious about the restaurant business. Owner Eric Lippmann and his wife Anne, who live nearby, oversee everything from the kitchen to the customers. Their delicious pizzas, including an inventive BBQ chicken variety, steal the show at prestigious awards competitions. The menu also offers pastas, salads, sandwiches, and wings - as well as fresh-baked cookies for good boys and girls of any age.

Michellesaker - 10/19/2008Great place, excellent pizza, we especially loved the Mediterranian Pizza. The greek salad was amazing and they had a great kids play area. This place is nice and bright and very clean!

We love EJ's. Their pizza is freshly made with tasty ingredients. We love their chicken barbecue pizza, and their cheese pizza is hard to beat. Our daughter LOVES their pizza, and she won't eat just ANY pizza. And, I love their salads (the house salad is delicious) and pasta (especially the spaghetti with meatballs). Great place for families --- a great play area for the kids. And, if you love to eat there, they have a great customer loyalty card that earns you free pizza or entrees. There are other pizza places in the neighborhood, but they just don't measure up. EJ's is the place to eat!

Naceber - 07/08/2008I was very impressed with the cleanliness and quality of the pizza. My favorite is the Mediterranean with kalamata olives, feta and spinach. Our moms group visits EJ's at least once a month!

Super Yummy Pizza
JCMEJDME - 06/06/2008You would have to be pretty ignorant to not see that many of the other reviewers have a vested interest in the restaurant that they are claiming is better than E.J.'s. How pathetic of them to stoop to that level. It kind of shows you how desperate they are to get your business. I've eaten at many of these other pizza places and the only other great pizza joint is Star Pizza. Their pizza isn't necessarily better, only different. E.J.'s is a warm, family friendly place that just happens to have really great pizza (and lasagna too). Try the BBQ Chicken or the Classic (both on their traditional crust), my personal favorites. A house salad with tomato-herb vinaigrette is a great accompaniment. (Oh, and their croutons are super yummy!)

Horrible Tasting Pizza
gerold1947 - 04/15/2007I find it incredible that this pizza joint could be voted # 1. The owners, employees & friends must vote every hour 7 days a week. Should be at the bottom of the list and barely beats Dominos or CiCi's. Anyone who wants to taste great pizza try Romanos on West Gray which is truly #1 in Houston.
