Bellaire Broiler features simple, all-American burgers. Nothing fancy, just down home cooking and low, low prices. Mushrooms and chili are the most exotic burger toppings offered with crinkle cut fries, thick gooey shakes and fried onion rings hand dipped in a crumble crust -- the most popular side orders. Prices at the Bellaire Broiler seem to be frozen in time. The Broiler Burger Steak Special is a half pound patty slathered with barbecue sauce, accompanied by two side orders and Texas toast for less than $6 while the kiddy size burger is just over $1. And it's not just the prices that seem to come from another era. The main dining area looks like a '50s rumpus room with faded wood paneling, knickknacks filling the shelves of a room divider that separates the pickup counter from the orange vinyl booths. A television hums in the corner next to a tiny bar surrounded by four stools -- that's the smoking section. MUCH has changed around here over the years.....but Broiler Burger is the same........GREAT FOOD BEST BURGERS ANYWHERE (and I've been around the Country and had burgers from California to NYC...) Bellaire Broiler Burger is by far the abso-freekin-lutely BEST!!

EARLJAGUAR - 05/20/2008The Bellaire Special is the standard that I use to judge by when it comes to burgers! It is the best burger that I have ever had. I have been going to this place for over 40 years and I keep comming back for more. The flovor that their broilers give to the meat is like no other. When I ask my daughter where she wanted to go for her 19th birthday she said Bellaire Broiler Burger. Guess we will be making the 50 mile round trip for the best burgers in town tonight!

Copope - 05/16/2008Growing up in Bellaire, it was THE place for Saturday lunch. Mom would have her hair done at the beauty shop around the corner and then we'd stop for lunch. Although ownership has changed, the taste hasn't. Maybe it's the combination of great childhood memories and a great burger that make it my favorite in Houston.....

Wonderful Old -Style Burgers
bspmmy - 03/28/2005They serve real genuine flame-cooked burgers the way a burger is meant to be. If you grew up on big-chain burgers or on excessively thick designer patties you probably don't even recognize what an honest, genuine hamburger is supposed to be like. Yeah, it's kind of dingy in there but get over that and enjoy something unique and wonderful!
