We visit the Austin area 2 to 4 times a year...Daughter lives there...we go to Cool River everytime we visit her...Even had a surprise birthday party for her there....LOVE IT

Pricey but, great. You definitely get what you paid for. I can make a meal off the crab cake appetizers they're awesome and hefty!!

If you enjoy 100% certified Angus Beef, then you will most likely enjoy Cool River Café and its classy way of entertaining. With exemplarity expectation to satisfy your needs you will find great service, an extensive wine list, and extraordinary seafood and steak. After enjoying a lovely dinner in a comfortable Texas like setting, I recommend headed towards the Cigar Lounge. You’re welcome to enjoy a smoke or two of your choice with a delicious variety of port wines while relaxing and digesting, with luxurious coaches and TVs. To conclude if you are feeling extra frisky this evening then may I suggest some drinks at the bar? With the biggest bar in Austin you will find numerous amounts of TVs and pool tables along with a one shuffle board table. Do you hear that? That’s right, live music Thursday, Fridays, and Saturdays to keep you up and moving on the dance floor. Cool River Café also provides a large amount of seating vicinities in separate private rooms which give you that extra choice of where you will be celebrating your next Christmas Party, Graduation, or Bachelor event and so on. Wow, I went for my engagement dinner and it was the Best( we both had steaks)!!!! Great customer service too! Great entertainment (dance band called The Pictures band) after we ate over in the bar too!!! A full night out without having to drive all over town for entertainment.

Food- Atmosphere and Wine

I was so pleasantly surprised, when I fist came in. To the left nice bar, cigar room, pool, Sports TV.s great hang out - to the right a beautiful dining room, great menu, service, Wine List and of course Wonderful food. Highly recommend to friends and love each trip back..Just Please..it is a nice dining room, Dress appropriately..it helps with the ambience of fine dining
