Enjoy one of the best views in the city while dining on both traditional and eclectic northern Italian fare.

In Short
Casual by day and romantic by night, the restaurant at the end of Third Avenue, near the symphony. In warm weather, couples and small groups clamor for outdoor seats. Chef Agnoletti left northern Italy, toting his recipes for pastas and sauces that leave diners crying, "Amore." Favorites include the fresh manicotti the gnocchi, especially when paired with his kick-in-the-pants arrabbiata sauce. Desserts include amaretto-soaked chocolate layer cake.

    Sounds like someone doesn't like hostess. Nevertheless, the food and service is better than on Peabody. Great lasagna, fresh salad and great soup. The bread's fantastic. I'm going back tonight. I'll say HI to the hostess for you.

    I go to Sole Mio for the food. The food, service, and atmosphere are always a little hit or miss, but when it's good it's fabulous. The restaurant is cozy, and the staff at times is very warm. However, I really don't see what all the rage is over the view.

    After our first encounter with the "hostess" at sole mio, my friend and I decided not to let one bad apple spoil the experience. The waitstaff are amazing, real teamwork. It seems the hostess is also the manager, which is dreadful! She is rude,overbearing and disrespectful. Don't let her bring you down!

    Just perfect in every way! PRESENTATION and taste BEYOND belief.
    Every bite is delectable......and fresh as when the order taken. Best RATED ! should be known NATIONALLY! A MUST for the in-towner as well as visitors......~!

    TAKE SERIOUS EXCEPTION TO THE FACT THAT THESE PHONIES EVEN CALL THEMSELVES ITALIAN. NOTHING ABOUT THIS RESTAURANT IS AUTHENTIC. THE FOOD IS TERRIBLE; THE SERVICE IS LESS THAN MARGINAL AND THE MANAGEMENT CONSISTS OF MANIACS. THIS EVALUATION IS THE RESULT OF MORE THAN ONE UNSATISFACTORY VISIT AND CONVERSATIONS WITH FRIENDS WHO HAVE UNFORTUNATELY BEEN THERE. IF YOU LOOK AT OTHER REVIEWS YOU WILL ALSO SEE THAT MANY OTHERS HAVE HAD SIMILAR EXPERIENCES. IF YOU STILL WANT TO TEST THESE PEOPLE OUT YOU WILL SUFFER THE SAME CONSEQUENCES.

    THIS RESTAURANT HAS CONSISTENTLY DEMONSTRATED VERY POOR SERVICE AND AWFUL FOOD. ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION THE FOOD WAS SALTY AND UNEDIBLE. THE OWNERS AND SERVICE STAFF ARE TOTALLY UNSTABLE AND I HAVE WITNESSSED CUSTOMERS ACTUALLY BEING RUN OUT OF THE RESTAURANT SIMPLY BECAUSE OF LOW TIPPING OR MAKING ACCURATE STATEMENTS ABOUT THE LACK OF FOOD QUALITY. THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE RUN OUT OF TOWN.
