In Short
Whimsical antiques and decorative items--velvet armchairs, vintage-looking fringed lamps and booths made from iron bedsteads--fill the dining room. The OSF Classics menu offers spaghetti with a choice of mushroom sauce, rich meat sauce, browned butter and feta-like mizithra cheese sauce, and more. Other popular favorites are the baked lasagna--layers of noodles, tomato sauce and four kinds of cheese--and the fettuccine Alfredo. Meals include a green salad, fresh-baked bread and ice cream.

YOU NEVER KNOW UNTIL YOU GO THERE AND SIT DOWN LOOK AROUND AND SEE HOW THE PEOPLE TALK TO YOU AND TAKE CARE OF YOU AND SEE WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE COME IN THERE AND HOW THEY ARE TO YOU TOO. DO THEY SMILE AND DO YOU SMILE BACK AND THEN YOU TASTE THE FOOD AND ENJOY AND IF YOU DON'T SEND IT BACK FOR SOMETHING ELSE AND IF THEY GIVE YOU A HARD TIME YOU KNOW NEVER TO RETURN THERE AGAIN . EVERYONE HAS THER OWN TASTE SO I SAY GIVE IT YOUR OWN TRY, STOP BYE AND SAY HI .

  • 1st date

    Review rating : 3out of 5   skpls524 - 03/16/2005

My husband and I went here 10 years ago for our first date. It was wonderful. Now it's just so-so. The food is still great but the service really brings down the whole experience. When we complained the management didn't even seem to care. We hardly ever go there anymore.

As a customer of the Spaghetti Factory for over 20 years, I just had to put my input on this review. For out of town guests, this place is the best. It is beautiful inside. The prices can't be beat, which include salad, bread, ice tea and spumoni ice cream. Try the Mazithra Cheese Spaghetti with a side of meat sauce. Downtown is beautiful at night. This is a great family place. Very casual. Try it!

Great value, decent portions, good food. Somtimes the service can be lackluster, but it's a good place to eat.

  • Essential Nashville Ingredient

I lived in Clarksville, Tennesee (not that far away from Nashville) when I was about four or five. The highlight of the time I lived there was the trips that we took to the Old Spaghetti Factory. I find it hard to believe that this establishment has declined that much. I also find it hard to take the advice of someone who can't capitalize the letter "I", and who, apparently, can't construct a full sentence.

  • thick, tastless and cold

the pizza is thick, tastless and cold and i would rather throw ketchup on the soles of my shoes and eat that then their pizza.

  • Nice Decor-Need A Better Sauce

    Review rating : 3out of 5   beammeupscottyf - 05/02/2004

Went to the Old Spaghetti Factory on Friday Night>

The decor is very nice, filled with Antiques and Such. The place has an odor bordering on the smell of "Vomit"
probably from the Romano cheeses, I suspect.

Frankly, the seafood clam sauce was the best. Their tomato Beef Sauce seems just like Chef Boyardee Canned. Yuck!

I will say that my server was very nice, professional, and made sure I was happy, coming back often to see If I needed anything.

    3 Stars!
