Forget lean cuisine, vegetarian dishes and non- alcoholic evenings, because Flemings is the place to indulge. Located on the second floor of a glam glass-fronted building on tony West End Avenue, Flemings' golden lighting, russet-colored couches and brown leather chairs invite guests in for relaxing evenings of prime aged beef, a bottomless wine selection and sinful chocolate desserts.
As with most steakhouses, all items here come a la carte, with delectable sides of creamed spinach, lyonnaise potatoes and onion rings. Meat selections include filet mignon, rib-eye steaks, veal chops and chicken with a choice of sauces such as peppercorn and bernaise. Wines are housed in a glass cooler in the center of the dining room, and there are more than 100 varieties available by the glass, as well as a "reserve" list of 80 award-winning wines by the bottle. Seating can be done at tables, at booths that overlook the avenue, or in the sexy bar. Groups are particularly welcome, and private rooms are available. -- Sandra Schulman

very good
good job with food and service. I think it is priced too high for what you receive, compared to other great steak places!
Other steakhouse across Tennessee that are 4 to 5 stars
are Folks Folly- Memphis, Sperrys -Nashville, and
Peerless -Knoxville.Add Comment2 things topSteakhouses have
Aside from good cuts of meat well prepared, there are two things great Steakhouses have in common: A great wine list and great vegetables (some would include great bread). I was able to find some of my favorite Italian reds, Brunello del Montacino for example. You can make a meal from the creamed spinach and leave satisfied. The wait staff is friendly - perhaps not what you'd find in New York, Chicago or pre-storm New Orleans, especially up front, their a little young and inattentive, but an overall enjoyable experience.
Flemings is the best in Nashville, nosing out Ruth's Chris. I know their both chains, but their esceptional chains. Flemings does a good job with their steaks too. Great cuts well prepared. Aside from Brennan's, which was the absolute best at seasoning and preparing steak in the U.S., Flemings does a terrific job, especially for a chain!WORKS FOR ME

Flemings has always worked well with my business and social needs good bar selection good wine selection and he service has always been what I have expected
My Favorite!
Best Steaks....Best Staff!
They treat you like they are glad you have come to dinner....Thanks for your customer service attitude.Fleming's Prime Steaks

This place is dripping in class.. The drinks, the food, and the service are second to none.. Remember the sides are huge, you must save room for the chocolate lava cake for dessert, to die for...
outstanding
The filet is wonderfully, melt in your mouth, tender! Holly was attentive and provided impecable service. Great appetizers, comfortable ambience. As a local downtown resident I highly recommend.
Nasville's Top Two Steakhouse

The bone-in ribeye could be the best steak in Nashville. Service is excellent. Wine list may be limited. Flemings or Mortons are the best steakhouse chains in Nashville. Consistent quality and service.
Wonderful
You can't beat a dinner at Flemings Nashville. It's a step up from a dinner at Houston's. Great wine list, both by the glass and bottle. The lighting, interior dominated by rosewood, accents the fine service at your intimate booth or table. The food (you must try the smoked salmon appetizer) is prepared to perfection. Ms. Joy at the bar was wonderful. She allowed us to sample wines not normally found sold by the glass elsewhere. We didn't have time for dessert but I hear they are delicious.
Try Flemings!!!
