If you're in the mood for a fast, creatively topped burger, almost anyone in town will tell you that Cheeseburger Charley's is the place to go. Order from a menu of freshly made salads, burgers (including vegetarian), french fries and homemade milk shakes, and when your order comes out, help yourself to the extensive toppings bar.

The food is reminiscent of 1950s diner fare, and Charley's tries hard to keep the atmosphere authentic. Because Vanderbilt is directly across the street, students and staff make up most of the business, but this is a popular location for families with young children, as well.
