Both die-hard carnivores and animal-friendly vegetarians will find a favorite dish at Calypso. The Caribbean restaurants menu has remained the same for several years, and loyal diners like it that way. People from all over Nashville report regular cravings for their black bean salads, rotisserie chicken, veggie pita sandwiches, sweet potatoes and tiny corn muffins. The atmosphere is cheerful, and even though both locations (there's also one at 2424 Elliston Place) are almost always crowded, the friendly wait staff makes sure everyone is seated and served quickly.
