Bikers, bankers and biology students alike darken the door of this highly favored pub on any given night. Usually packed to the max on weekends, the Brewhouse teems with the loud laughter and good times that transcend social cliques. The patio is perfect on warm evenings, and the casual plastic- chair decor makes for a laid-back feel that anyone can appreciate. There are myriad beers on tap, and a bartender will mark each one you've tried on a card. It's a fun challenge to try them all. Thursdays are Ladies' 2-for-1 Brew Nights and one of the Brewhouse's most happening events, with packs of women grabbing glasses at the bar. Scout for a seat or head next door to Mojo Grill for a spicy Cajun bite with your choice of libation. Rollicking and rowdy, the Brewhouse is fun for all. -- Malia Gail Franklin

Loved this place, until...
I hate to say it, because I have been a regular at the Brewhouse (3-4 times per week for lunch/dinner/drinks) for months. I have brought NUMEROUS friends around there and gotten them hooked. I have always had great service! However, I accidentally left my cell phone there on a Saturday. I went back on Sunday and it wasn't there. No big deal, right? Wrong. A friend of mine said he turned it in to the bouncer because he didn't know it was mine. So I called back and asked them if they could call the bouncer to see if he had placed it somewhere they hadn't checked, and they said they were going to call right away and get back to me that evening. Well, I called the next Monday to check, got yelled at for calling. Called Tuesday to check back, was told never to call again, and was hung up on. I am a very polite person, and never accused anyone of anything (just wanted to see if the bouncer had put it somewhere else). So I called back and said I was filing a police report on their employee. About 5 minutes later (while on the phone with Metro), I get a call saying that the bouncer found my phone and had it at his house. A little suspicious, no?
Sadly, I will NEVER go back there again. I am absolutely APPALLED by the way I was treated. The same people who had given me great service before were absolutely beyond rude. And the knowledge that a BOUNCER would not turn in a missing cell phone, instead keeping it (perhaps to use or sell, thinking there was a SIM card he could remove - not the case, sorry) until I threaten to, and begin to, file a police report? Wouldn't have thought this before, but the thought crossed my mind as the people got meaner and meaner. And unfortunately, it looks like this might have been the case...Add CommentChapsrgunner's Review

Great beer selection, good food, staff is friendly. This establishment is a wonderful meeting place for the upscale gay nashvillian, not your typical meat market, more for the sophisticated man. Hats off to the owner for providing a much needed place for the gay community.
