Great Atmosphere

This restaurant has a great atmosphere and very trendy, and the presentation is very nice. Being from Chicago, these are the type places that attracted me to downtown Memphis. Out of 3 visits, the quality of the meal was a flop two of those. My last visit, I ordered Basil leaf chicken and noticed it had no flavor nor basil, and when I asked the server if it was actually basil leaf chicken she told me "yes, we just dont have any basil right now." Sorry Sawaddii

This is my favorite Thai restaraunt out of the 6 states I have lived in. The atmosphere is great - trendy in style and great location to all the happenings of Downtown. This is a must visit place for visitors - forget the overated BBQ tourist trap downtown and march to Sawaddii. Because they do not have sushi - if you want sushi go to midtown Seikisui!

Kitt is an artist in the kitchen. Masaman, Kee Mao, Pad Phet catfish, everything is amazing. He also makes a mango cheesecake or a coconut sorbet that you'd kill for. Don't go anywhere else in downtown Memphis if you want quality food at great prices

The ambiance of Sawadii is hip, trendy, and chic. The servers are so withit and courteous! The food was amazing especially the great Chef's special duck that he only serves on occasion or when asked. It was the best duck I've ever tasted! I wil be bringing back my friends and family real soon. When you think you're done with a fab meal, out comes the dessert menu. The great Chef has has Wowed the desserts with his special decorative touch! Thank you Sawadii for a memorable dinner and evening out! I will be back to try everything on the menu a litte at a time!

A must during your stay in Memphis! Amazing and unbelievable food. Many selections and choices! You will not be disappointed! Affordable and reasonable prices, great location, and great service. Am getting hungry just writing about Sawaddii! Best THAI in Memphis! Must visit!!

Definitely best Thai in Memphis. Loves their originality.
Masaman curry with shrimp is a must have and their grilled Mahi Mahi with sun dried tomato citrus glazed is fabulous.

Excellent food and exceptional service at the right price. Most of the 5-star restaurants in Memphis don’t deserve that rate. If you take those restaurants to Chicago, NY, Houston, California the rate would be no more than 3 or 4. However, this one could be a 5-star everywhere. Memphis needs to understand that 5 stars does not necessarily mean high $$$$. A separate room with a Thai bar, exotic drinks, Thai appetizers and the right music would bring more business clientele. Has potential to improve and grow.
