The Pig of Beale not only brings trend-setting music to Beale, but brags big when it comes to barbecue. These guys are proud of their pork, claiming that they are the only joint on Beale that cooks on site, while other restaurants start with frozen, pre-cooked ribs and packaged sauces. Whether this claim is true or not, the club easily earns the title of pork with an attitude. The kitchen provides the barbecue recipe freely, the '50s environment is casual, and the jukebox ain't too shabby at all. For music, the club tosses in rockabilly to a traditional blues fire on Thursdays and Fridays, and adds some bluegrass to spice things up on Saturdays. -- Nancy Apple

I was in Memphis from Mobile Al ,I ate at pig's
    ordered coleslaw they were out!
    ordered potato's out!
    ordered corn they were out.
did not serve me bread until I asked for it, then it was a plan old hamburger bun not even toasted.

The bbq was not good, I don't know where Memphis gets it BBQ name from but you can get better BBQ in Mobile Al, And we are famous for our seafood not BBQ

Again you left the Champ's out, Rendezvous is the best hands down. The staff, the food, the people! Role that into one location, you got the best in Memphis.
Located in the alley, downstairs, behind 52 South Second in downtown Memphis. Don't take my word for it, go to www.hogsfly.com and order for your self.

Great BBQ! Folks, if you came to Memphis to visit Graceland, you MUST SEE Radford Ellis right here on Beale Street. He's the "Voice of the King" and his "E-Factor" venue will have you returning to Memphis time and time again, just like we did!Verlyn-Rose (Candian Rose) & Beryl GOSNEY
