  • not worth the trip

I love Brennan's in New Orleans. This is not the same quality at all. Over priced, poorly presented and the bread pudding was inedible. I guess when you think you are the only louisiana style place in town, you become complacent.

  • Great Food and Service.

The food at Owen Brennan's is very good and keeps us coming back. The BBQ Shrimp appetizer served with rice is one of a kind and the sauce is great for dipping the homemade bread in. Make sure you save enough room after dinner for some Bread Pudding for dessert. The service is also great and one could not ask for a better location.

  • This is definately not a steak

    Review rating : 1out of 5   mcinandrm - 12/10/2003

In not really into cajun food so I ordered a New York Strip. I could tell that was not there specialty. The didn't marinade the steak in anything. They just through it on the grill. I was very bland. To top it off I was supposed to get garlic potatoes. They gave me bland rice and steamed broccoli and carrots. AGAIN bland. I won't reccomend this place.

  • dirty

    Review rating : 1out of 5   bisurfed - 11/25/2003

I have dined here twice and both times have been amazed at how dirty the help looks, the white smocks the waiters wear are stained and dirty and the carpet in the restaurant is worn and torn. I don't mind paying the prices but please clean the help and the restaurant up. Also make sure the plates are clean prior to putting them out for the buffet.
