In a quaint little house beyond a white picket fence is a mom-and-pop operation known for wonderfully healthy breakfast omelets, homemade breads and tasty sandwiches. Named after Brother Juniper, aka St. Francis of Assisi's cook, this charming cafe follows the credo of cooking meals from whatever is at hand. The dining room is very small and often cramped, but it is cozy nonetheless. The service is always friendly, though often slow due to large crowds, especially on Saturdays. Lunch items are available during weekdays: mainly soups, salads, sandwiches, great gyros and some vegetarian items. There is a specialty coffee of the day to go with the wide selection of scrumptious pastries. The clientele is composed mainly of students and teachers from the University of Memphis, but midtowners with kids also frequent the inn. A big fish tank and religious paraphernalia decorate the dining room, and bluegrass music sets a relaxed mood. -- Nancy Apple

best breakfast in the world!
love it! fabulous food! the home fries and homemade straun bread are to die for; my girls love the oat bran waffles and cinnamon rolls! I love love love the black bean breakfast burrito--it could feed 2-3 and I consume the whole thing because I am greedy! definitely worth the wait and the crowds, but some early am weekdays are almost quiet; a little slice of heaven on earth!

The Best!
On the Best of List for Breakfast all the time, and have they earned it.
So popular and loved the owner is loved by everyone. All I can say is YUM!!!Didn't Connect
Normally, this would be the adult-type of film I would enjoy but it just didn't connect with me. Mark Ruffalo and Peter Krause gave such wooden and insipid performances that they just killed any spark the film might have had. However, I gave 3-stars for Laura Dern's and Naoimi Watts' usual outstanding performances.

Great wholesome and hearty food with an earthy, friendly, bluegrass-tinged atmosphere. Worth the wait and sitting elbow-to-elbow with the inevitable crowd.

The best omlette you will ever taste. It is usually packed and it is a bit slow but it is all for a reason. It's the best.
