Midtowners from every walk of life rave about Bosco's Squared, the hippest eatery on Madison Avenue. Thanks to their varied menu, hungry hipsters pack Bosco's Squared noon and night to gnosh on the restaurant's trademark nouvelle Italian cuisine while sipping on the latest amber ales. After dinner the bistro serves up delectable pizza-and-beer combos to movie fans fresh from the latest foreign flick at nearby Studio on the Square. By midnight, throngs of twentysomethings crowd the four-sided bar, while paired-off couples gravitate toward the secluded booths that line the west side of the restaurant. Don't miss the Sunday Jazz Brunch, where you can eyeball the audience to find out just who hooked up over the weekend. Still hurting from the night before? Omelets and Cajun-inspired entrees such as Andouille hash and oysters Benedict go down perfectly with the best Bloody Marys in town. Ladies, take note: Saturday beer tastings are de rigueur, as Chuck Skypeck, Bosco's beermeister, unveils his seasonal brews to an appreciative audience. This is a great place to meet single guys, or, if you've already got a man, make his dreams come true by initiating a taste test. Seal the deal by signing him up with Bosco's Beer Police, and you'll have a mate for life -- guaranteed. -- Andria Lisle

Great Pork Chops

My wife and I eat out 3-4 time a week and still find this is one of our favorites. The beer is superb, great bar and patio, and the pork chop and sweet potatoes may be the best pork dish in town. Comfortable restaurant for either expense account dinner or hanging out for several hours at the bar.
