A Beale Street favorite, Alfred's bar and restaurant offers not only a full menu of satisfying Memphis specialties and pub grub, but also a full bar and one of the largest patios in the city. Come early and grab a seat on the first or second level outdoor patio and take in the live, acoustic show during the early evening hours. After chowing down, go inside and burn off those calories with a spin on a huge dance floor. With an incredible sound system and some of the best live entertainment in town, Alfred's gets you rockin' 'til the break of dawn. Alfred's offers all of the right ingredients: food, beverages, entertainment and outdoor dining to ensure a quality stay in Memphis.

Th staff is great and the food is tops. I loved the barbecue chicken sandwich and barbecue chicken nachos. The prices are pretty reasonable. The outdoor patio is great for people watching Nice live music to listen to at night

Indifference by the servers is commonplace and understood by the Memphis crowd. It's too bad because it does have a good atmosphere ...

i thought the food and the atmosphere really sucked , they were extremly rude and i will never attend this establishment again. i just really didnt like the managment or the plave in general.

Ive been a few times so I think Ive gone enough to form an adequate opinion. The bands are always great and that goes from Kevin, to Chris, to Caliente, as well as the reggae band. The Karaoke nights ar a lot of fun and the DJ is bangn however, my problem is with the managemnt. Itseems as if minorites arent too welcome, I went with a group of fellow latinos to see caliente and we wre treated very badly by the staff, and it doesnt seem to cater to or even want black people there at all.

Check out nation every now and then and listen to what DJ Mark Anderson somes up with. Bands are always energetic, just as the people.
