Outstanding! Delicious! Great Value!
We have been eating at the Cherokee Steakhouse for over 30 years! We love it! Great salad & bread with meal! Blackened Prime Rib-- Good enough to make a tadpole slap a whale! By far the best ground round anywhere! German fries are out of this world! etc. etc.

i love it have been going there for many years as for how prople dress well it is on the lake and many people dock boats there just to go in and eat,it takes rich people to have this but how do you dress when on a boat this has been going on for so many years so they must be doing something right as for the food it is wonderful also
Delicious steak and laid back atmosphere!!
Prime rib, sirloin, filet, ribeye are fantastic.
Don't forget to keep a roll for the duckies and geese out by the docks!Steak for @
Oder the sirlion for 2 and have them "blacken" it!! Don't forget to visit the ducks before leaving.
Cherokee is a dump
Cherokee Steak House is a stinking hole of a place. The waiting area is dark and depressing, the carpet is a mushy, filthy mess and the entire place reeks of mildew and old grease. Even the ceiling shows signs of heavy leaking. On top of that, the place is crammed with men in sleeveless undershirts and ball caps and screaming babies.
I expected that with such a wait and teaming crowd the food must be worth the discomfort. Even though the portions are large (which is obviously part of the appeal) I found the steak mediocre at best and the menu prices well above the quality of food, which is slung to the table, not served. To describe the experience as 'pedestrian' would be far to mild. As for me, the Cherokee ranks as one of the worst restaurants I've encountered.
