OK, so Famous Dave's is a chain restaurant, a fact that they're not ashamed of. For good reason, too, as each location feels like the home-town secret that the natives revel in and the tourists dream of. The best part is that you don't have to be a local to know that if you want ribs, you go to Famous Dave's. Served with a choice of six sauces (including Devil's Spit that will light a fire in you!), there is something for everyone's taste. Of course, the rest of the menu also rises to the standard, with to-die-for sandwiches and sides that would make you want to slap your tablemate. Which, of course, might put a slight damper on the rest of the meal. But trust us -- this grub is worth it. -- James Reyes

Have eaten at Famous Daves in Nashville and Clearwater, Florida and It is some of the best anywhere. The food is well prepared and consistant in quality and quantity. Pulled pork, chicken and catfish are tops. I am hooked..

Ribs
Ann TNWV - 05/31/2008I want ribs to fall off the bone. These don't I was told. I went to another place that was suppose to be the best ribs also and they were also like this. If I want good ribs I go to Logans and have never been disappointed there!
