Garland is not the mecca for great dining in the Metroplex, but like a diamond in the rough, Luna de Noche shines above the rest. With notable decor and an eclectic atmosphere, this is not your mother's choice for Tex-Mex -- it's much hipper than that. The menu is a breath of fresh air. Innovative and original dishes peppered with a few family recipes stray from tired mom-and-pop standard combos. Not to say your parents can't enjoy the enchiladas here, but the younger set with palates trained in worldly ways will feel more at home. Grilled, bacon-wrapped shrimp and tuna-fish tacos are a nice change of pace for those tired of ground-beef creations -- by the way, you'll find no ground beef anywhere on the menu. Bovine-avoiding vegetarians can feast on veggie nachos, spinach enchiladas and fusion stir-fry vegetarian fajitas. Luna de Noche has three other locations on Forest Lane, N. Central Expressway and Preston Road. -- John Vega

All Time Favorite
This is my all time favorite restaurant. I love the salsa (both kinds) and I have never found anything on the menu I don't like. My current favorite is the veggie enchiladas. I have always had great food and great service. Even with 2 small children, they do a great job. THANK YOU LUNAS!! Put one in Wylie :)

This Resturant, lacks in customer service, the food is pricey for what you get, and the again, the service was not good at all!

Do they really NOT offer ground beef at all, only shredded beef? I really prefer ground beef, however I really want to try it because of the great reviews. Is the salsa really a salsa consistency or like a hot sause? Is is better than El Fenix (Casa Linda location)? How's the guacamole and the queso? How about the chips, soft corn and flour tortillas? Are they complimentary with the meal? How are the frozen margaritas? My husband and I may go there for dinner tomorrow night. Thanks.
.
cannot believe you failed to mention the wonderfully cilantro-flavored salsa, which may be their best draw...just ask the regular customers!
