Steak swimming in butter
CapitolLobbyist - 10/09/2008Still trying to figure out who thought dunking a perfectly good steak in a swimming pool full of butter was a good idea? Don't get me wrong, the steaks are fine, just ask for them dry and you'll be amazed the difference. The dining room at the Connecticut Avenue location is a little down in the dumps these days.......coulkd use a facelift.

Lateniteknight46 - 07/10/2008you can spend 60% less money at any steakhouse. spinach veg for 8 bucks you have to be kinding me. This is such a touchy subject with me, im an executive chef with a culinary degree and 40 yrs experience under my belt. Trust me dine in another steak house. This is a status symbol restaurant.

Wikershine - 07/10/2008No doubt, the food was good, but I'll take a Lone Star steak anyday and be able to afford to go more often. Again, food was good, but not worth $300 for 2 (yes, included a bottle of so-so wine and 2 mixed drinks).
