For years the pattern was set -- you went to the Strip for money-is-no-object fine dining and visited the neighborhood hotel-casinos for less distinguished fare at more moderate prices. Hank's Fine Steaks & Martinis breaks this longstanding rule with gusto; located in Henderson's Green Valley Ranch Resort, the classy chophouse can match it's Strip counterparts in quality of entrees, the elegance of its surroundings and its ability to draw a celebrity clientele. However, the prices match as well. Expect to pay north of $40 for one of the four steak selections -- two on the bone, two off -- and close to that for the veal, pork, chicken and Chateaubriand. Sides and salads and appetizers are, of course, extra. But the dry martinis and live piano music soften the tab's impact.

Martini's are the best
Conniegrace777 - 04/07/2009For sure the food is just food....but the Martini's can not be beat, especially during Happy hours...for the 1/2 price....the atmosphere is very pleasant and up scale. So if you are staying at GVR it is an OK dining esperience....I like the Italian place too (good atmosphere) and Tides (no atmosphere) In my opinion a restaurant that just has so so food and service should have low low prices and Hanks food prices are too too high

MOGUSSIN - 07/10/2008Food was veryy good, ambiance nice, server was horrible...he tried to ruin our lives..we didn't let him. He had his period last night. Filets were wonderful. How can a steakhouse not have any dessert on Wednesday night other than passionfruit parfait...and that was the only dessert offered. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!

RitaHarja1 - 07/07/2008I have read some not so good reviews on Hank's, and am in total shock!!! I went there for my birthday with my finance' and everything was excellent, right from the start of our drinks (apple martini) & a( redbull and vodka )were strong as can be!! My filet, to the sides, salads, appitizers, excellent, even the wait staff pulled my seat before & after I left for the ladies room! and are bill was like $300.00, but well worth it.!! I would highly recomend!!!! can't wait to go back again.
Amazing Dinner
HeatherandKeith1 - 06/22/2008My husband and I took our friends out to dinner there and it was amazing! The atmosphere was to die for and the wine, bread, salad and steak was mouth watering :) I hope to go back soon.
