Owned by three affable Greek brothers, this jovial temple of turf is firmly entrenched in the ideal middle ground between old-school macho beeferies like Del Frisco's and cheeky, attitude-conscious hothouses like Bob's Steakhouse. The decibel level rivals a rock concert on the weekends, but the intimate banquettes and loungey surrounds staffed by a coddling team of servers, makes both the inevitable waits for a table and uproarious conversations worth the odyssey.
Praiseworthy starters include the signature saganaki, imported kasseri cheese, fried and flamed with brandy, garlic-kissed escargot bathed in butter, and a vibrantly fresh Greek salad frolicking with kalamata olives, pepperoncinis and feta cheese. When choosing a cut of beef, it's difficult to go wrong. The filet mignon is brought to the table awash in its crimson juices, the salt and peppered New York strip comes crowned in a flavor erupting peppercorn sauce, and a crisply charred rib eye is fork-tender. Main dishes are all served with seasonal vegetables, a bulging baked potato or garlic mashers, and either a cup of the housemade soup or a simple mixed salad. If you're not counting calories -- and why would you be -- the Death by Chocolate cake provides a flourishing finish.

I had heard of Steakhouse 10 from a friend and since I live in the neighorhood, I took a girlfriend for lunch the other day. Totally pleasant and delicious lunch. I was not at all disappointed that I had tried it with a friend. Good atmosphere, good service and very good food. I'm happy I tried it and I will return.
Great all over!
Just visited tonight for the first time. I do not frequent steak-houses but perhaps once to twice a year. This was the kind of place that was just right for that bi-annual visit. Excellent service surrounded by an atmosphere that seemed perfectly rustic for a steakhouse. Without reservation we walked up to the front door greeted by one of the brothers who we later find out own the place. A table was prepared and we were sat within minutes. Crab Cakes appetizer was well prepared and cooked to perfection. Lobster Bisque was served at the proper temperature and had several depths of flavor which had my palette dancing. My friend and I ordered a Malbec which complimented our specials perfectly, which were the 10oz Filet with a chipotle garlic cream sauce, with grilled rock shrimp.
A guest joined us just after ordering the main and she was sat instantly and treated by our gentlemen waiter who was well deserving of his tip. I'd reason to say he'd worked there or served for several years as he was in his early to mid 60's.
Fabulous food. Steak was PERFECT, aged well and flavourful.
Afterwards we skipped desert, were complimented with a house shot of "Ouzo" (an anise based liquor for those unfamiliar) and introduced to the executive chef who asked our opinion on the food. Well run, well done.
