National Sports Grill isn't just a sports bar, it's a sports emporium. The venue's considered one of the most popular and well-regarded sports bars in Orange County. Afternoons and early evenings are unofficially reserved for family dining (the kitchen offers a full menu full of pub classics with hungry-man sized portions) in the relatively large space arranged with overstuffed booths and televisions. Things change on the weekends though as the bar and enormous adjoining billiards hall become overrun with manic sports fans shooting pool, downing pints and taking in whatever big sporting event is being televised at the moment (with full-satellite capability, there's always a big sporting event being broadcast at National's). This isn't a boy's club though. The crowd is an even split of male and females -- especially when a local team's game is playing on the overhead monitors. Tip: Those averse to deafening noise might want to stay away. The venue is notorious for its ear-splitting decibels by manic sports fans.

blackrawb07 - 03/02/2007Screaming fans, cold beer, awesome food, fun atomosphere. Are just some of the qualities of this oc sports bar legend. National Sports Grill is the ultimate fan zone for any sporting event weather its pay per view events which they show all, or the a soccer match 3 time zones away they have it at your finger tips. The women are gorgious and the service is impecable, i would definetly reccomend Nationals to every sports fan or anyone that would like to dine in a fun exiciting atmosphere.

fanfootballfool - 01/30/2007You gotta be kidding. First of all, there are two NSG's in Orange County. You are giving the address of the address of the one in Buena Park and showing the one in Anaheim. The one in Buena Park is the WORST sports bar in OC. The big screen TVs are 15 yrs old, out of focus and unwatchable. Half the TV's don't work and only a few months ago they put in their first plasma. A small unit... not even a big screen. They are way overpriced, that is unless you like paying almost $6 for a beer you can get for $3.25 elsewhere. The food is average and even more overpriced then the beer. Mixed drinks are "airport pours".
I used to go there to see their Sports Trivia person on Thursday nights, but they've done away with that also. Do yourself a favor. If you like to beharrassed, pay too much, eat bad food and get into fights, then this is the place for you.
