The Fox and Hound looks like an English pub that's been crossed with an American sports bar and then pumped up on steroids. It's massive and handsome with dark wood, polished brass and rows of TV screens, all perfectly placed for maximum viewing potential. The huge bar has an impressive beer selection, with about 20 beers on tap and 60 varieties by the bottle. There is also a cigar menu if you so desire. The restaurant and bar areas take up the front of this sprawling place, and although the digs are English, the menu is strictly American: burgers, steaks, pizza, wings. Although the slow-cooked pot roast might distract you from the game -- it melts in your mouth. The back room has multiple pool tables, cocktail tables and more TVs. The Fox and Hound is family-friendly, but the bar and the back areas can get crowded after hours and during sporting events.

Varsity9Softball - 07/28/2008definitely a fun place to be, but the wait staff makes it feel like it is some high school drama fest. they are more concerned with how they look, gossiping, and chatting it up all day with guys than serving their guests. not to say that this is how they all are, but a good number of them.

JovialJenny - 07/02/2008Most of the time it's so crowded that you can't hear yourself think. BUT, the drinks are always great, the staff is nice and if you come with friends it's just a great place to hang out, watch a few games...or pretend to while you check out the guys =)

tanzolas - 06/27/2007Great place for drinks and sports.....I been going to Fox and Hound in Edison NJ for about 2 years now....So many drinks to choose from and a very professional and terrific bar staff will help you out with anything.....Not to mention good looking!!! Thanks Fox and Hound you guys created a raving fan in me.

pattifa - 03/10/2007Since this place opened my friend and i started going and we love it! The booths are the coveted seats so if you get there early enough grab one and stay in it! The atmosphere is great, the food is good and how can you go wrong with beer when there's so much to pick from???? I like to see what the beer of the month is because it's cheaper than usual. One time my friend's hamburger was not cooked enough and when she sent it back, the manager came over, apologized and gave us a few free appetizer cards. My husband (who doesn't even drink!) loves the place too......that could be because of all the big screen TVs, but I know he likes the food as well. I love this place!
Atmosphere Great
getuppmove - 09/22/2006The atmosphere for football watching is great. The food on the other hand is horrid. I have yet to find something that I can say, wow that was pretty good. Now to give them credit I have only had burgers, salads, pot pie & a wrap there but they are nothing to write home about. I am determined to find something!
