The next best thing to sitting in an arena is sitting at a bar surrounded by hundreds of enthusiastic fans, craning your neck to catch the scores of numerous sporting contests broadcast on dozens of television sets. The Sports Depot has returned to Allston, and the fans are going wild, as they always have. The favorite hangout of enthusiasts of anything that involves a ball, bat, pole or helmet offers good food off the grill and cold beer out of the tap. Best of all is the most electric sporting atmosphere this side of Fenway. The Depot is housed in an old train station complete with orange caboose, and the building still shakes when the train rumbles by. Sports Depot's patrons hardly notice, though, because any time of day, regardless of what goes on outside, inside there's beer, burgers and upward of 70 TVs.
