The curiously-colored Pickles Pub -- where lime green and bright yellow wreak havoc with those who have imbibed a tad too much -- lives a double life. During the fall and winter months, it's a neighborhood hangout, where pals gather to shoot pool or darts and workers from nearby hospitals congregate on nights set aside especially for them. By spring and summer, Pickles' proximity to Camden Yards makes it a perfect pre- or post-game roost for Orioles fans (during series where tickets are scarce, many folks pull up a stool and watch on the pub's TVs).
Many converge on Pickles, which recently expanded and is still undergoing renovations, for friendly sports talk, yummy pub grub and bar games (beer pong is a favorite) year-round. Happy hour is daily, and there are standard food specials, like half-price burgers on Saturday nights. No funny-named micro-brews here, only canned, bottled and draught suds of the usual varieties to wash down appetizers, pizza, homemade soups and sandwiches.

I only went twice and got a very weak drink at a high price. The other review hit the nail on the head...go next door to Sliders ! Great drinks at medium prices.
Classis Sports Bar
It's exactly what you would expect from a sports bar, except the food is better. Try the fried pickles - seriously! Can't beat the location for O's or Ravens fans. For anyone missing their college days, you can relive them with classic drinking games at Pickles. Sure, it's not the cleanest place or the most fragrant, but it's a sports bar, what do you expect?!
Sliders next door is much ...
... better. Better food selections, better bartenders who can make more cooler drinks. It is smaller than Pickles though, but this is what adds to it's charm and does have two levels.
www.taxlienresearch.comBest "Sports Bar" ??
Sorry but NO. A great location (right across from Camden Yards) to grab a brew or two before a Orioles game. The tv's are small and in odd locations. It's also very smokey, but they open it up in good weather.
