Your pitcher is never empty and the big crabs keep a-comin' at Bill's on Eastern Avenue. Neighborhood folks and locals agree that this traditional crab house serves up the largest and meatiest steamed crabs in Baltimore, even during years of underweight harvests. Bill's crabs come in other incarnations too -- huge crab fluffs and mighty crab cakes, to name a couple.
Drop some coins in the jukebox and pick away or sit in the big backroom, at the old-time tables and catch an O's game. Don't be surprised to see Boog Powell over in the corner -- picking away with you. The former Oriole calls the huge crabs here "aircraft carriers."

E071648 - 04/12/2009this is the best place to eat steamed crabs. i live close to elkton,md. which is around 50 miles from bill's. the distance is not a problem when you get the best. i have been coming there for three years and maybe one or two times the crabs were not the best. if you go somewill else you will be making a big mistake. i have been eating crabs for 50+ years. there is alot of other places that are presteaming their crabs. you're never receive a presteam crab at bill's. trust me please once you try bill's crabs you're hooked, which is good.

DKrysiak1962 - 09/26/2008I have been a resident of Middle River Maryland about 18 years. I have been a steamed crab lover all my life....so needless to say.....I have been to alot of different crabhouses all over Maryland but once said and always will say, "Bill's Terrace Inn is Top #1 crabhouse/restaurant in my book!" I have not found any other crab retailer any better.

Myszruby - 06/20/2008Steve, you do have the best crabs in Maryland. I see that some of the negative remarks were some time ago. I did not experience that kind of service the last couple of times we ate at MR BILL'S. As Texas Tom said, you can't fix it if you do not know that its broke. You can't see everything because of the amount of customers that you serve every night. May be a complaint box would help. Keep up the good work and keep those great crabs steaming. GM TOM
